Sign up through the link above, verify your identity, and deposit at least $10. Polymarket US then adds $25 in trading credit to your account. The code JUANCARLOSH is built into the link. If the app asks for a referral code during sign-up, that’s the one to enter.

One thing most coupon pages leave out: the $25 is trading credit, not cash. You can use it to buy contracts and pay fees, but the $25 itself can never be withdrawn. Only the winnings it produces can. Details are below.

  • It’s checked against Polymarket’s own documentation, not copied from another coupon site. The badge on the code shows the date of the last real check, and how we verify explains what each kind of check means.
  • It states the offer at its real size. Plenty of pages advertise a “$50 bonus” or describe the $25 as cash. Polymarket’s terms say $25 of non-withdrawable trading credit, so that’s what we quote.
  • It’s the US app. Polymarket US is the CFTC-regulated exchange that Americans can actually use. The international site at polymarket.com is a separate service with its own referral system, and this code does nothing there.

How to get your $25 (about 10 minutes)

  1. Open the link before you create an account. Polymarket’s terms say referral codes must be applied during sign-up. There is no way to attach one afterward, so don’t register first and look for a code later.
  2. Sign in with Google or Apple. That creates the account and a username.
  3. Verify your identity. Polymarket US asks for your date of birth, phone number (confirmed by text), legal name, home address and Social Security number. This is a regulated US exchange, so the checks are the same kind a brokerage runs. Most people are approved automatically. Some are asked to upload a government ID and take a selfie.
  4. Deposit at least $10 by debit card or bank transfer. You can’t deposit until verification is done.
  5. Wait for the credit. Polymarket says referral credits are issued within 7 days of all the requirements being met.

What the $25 really is

These rules come from Polymarket’s Refer-A-Friend FAQ, its user incentive program terms and its page on why promotional credit can’t be withdrawn:

  • You can trade with it. The credit can open positions and pay trading fees.
  • You can’t cash it out. The credit is non-withdrawable, even after the position you used it on settles.
  • Winnings above it are yours. Any balance above the credit amount is regular cash you can withdraw. Polymarket’s own example: if a $20 credit produces $10 of proceeds after settlement, up to $10 becomes withdrawable.
  • Your own money is used first. If you have cash in the account, trades draw on that before they touch the credit.

So the realistic way to think about it: the $25 is a free stake, not a payment. Put it on a contract priced at 50¢ and you’ll either roughly double it, leaving about $25 of withdrawable winnings, or lose it. On a fairly priced contract that’s close to a coin flip. Your $10 deposit stays your own money and can be withdrawn once it clears, which Polymarket says typically takes 3–4 business days.

Is it $25 or $50?

The referral credit is $25 for you. Separately, Polymarket runs a first-deposit promotion: its current campaign, starting October 16, 2026, pays new users $25 for depositing $10 or more within 7 days of signing up. Polymarket’s terms don’t say whether a referral sign-up also gets that second $25. They say each new user is placed in the campaign tied to the code or link they signed up with. We haven’t been able to confirm that the two stack, so we don’t promise $50. If a second credit shows up after your deposit, it’s a bonus.

Fees, briefly

Polymarket US charges a fee when your order takes an existing price off the order book. The fee is largest on contracts near 50¢ and shrinks toward the extremes. Under the fee schedule effective October 19, 2026, buying 100 contracts at 50¢ costs about $1.74 in fees, and 100 contracts at 10¢ or 90¢ costs about $0.63. Cancelled or unfilled orders cost nothing. Polymarket updates this schedule often, so check the current version before trading large amounts.

A word on risk

Each contract pays $1 if its outcome happens and $0 if it doesn’t, so any position can go to zero. Many of the markets are sports, and trading them can feel a lot like betting. Treat the $25 credit as the free part, and only put in money you’re comfortable losing. If it stops being fun, the National Problem Gambling Helpline (1-800-GAMBLER) is free and confidential.

How this site gets paid

When you complete the $10 deposit, Polymarket gives this site the same $25 in trading credit, capped at 50 referrals. There’s nothing extra to do and no reason to deposit more than you want to. See our disclosure for how referral links pay this site.

FAQ

What is the Polymarket referral code? It’s JUANCARLOSH, and it’s built into the link polymarket.us/join/juancarlosh. If the app asks for a code during sign-up, enter it there.

Can I add the code after I’ve already signed up? No. Polymarket’s terms say referral codes must be applied during sign-up, and each new user can only be referred once.

Can I withdraw the $25? No. It’s promotional trading credit. You can withdraw winnings above it and your own deposit, but not the credit itself.

Do I have to deposit? Yes, at least $10. The credit is only issued once the deposit is made.

How long does the credit take? Polymarket says referral credits arrive within 7 days of all the requirements being met.

Is this the same as polymarket.com? No. Polymarket US (polymarket.us) is the CFTC-regulated US exchange, operated by QCX LLC. Polymarket.com is the international site, which US users can’t open new positions on. This code only works on Polymarket US.

Which states can use it? Polymarket doesn’t publish a state list in its documentation. The app checks eligibility when you sign up, so trust what it tells you over any list you find online. Its rulebook requires traders to be at least 18 and to have reached the age of majority where they live.

Can I open a second account to get another $25? No. Polymarket pays one bonus per verified identity and bans self-referrals and multiple accounts. Credits obtained that way can be withheld or clawed back.
